Bonding session with colleagues

Had a 'bonding' session with some of my colleagues on Monday. Left office at 12pm and headed to Suntec for Japanese buffet @ Kushinbo. Very good food & variety they have there. We then proceeded to Singapore Flyer for a 30 minute ride. Enjoyed the ride but felt that the night view would be much more breathtaking! We ended off the day with a fish spa at Kenko Reflexology & Fish Spa. These fish supposedly eat away the dead skin on your feet, while promoting blood circulation & making the skin smoother. Overall, enjoyed the companionship of my colleagues, plus the good food & activities. What more can I ask for?

Dinner @ Changi Airport T3
Monday, March 24, 2008
Went for dinner at Lerk Thai at Changi Airport's new terminal, T3 on Sunday. We brought Shaun along. Loved the spaciousness & cleanliness of Changi Airport's terminals. At least there's enough space to manoeuvre Shaun's stroller around without having to worry too much about blocking or banging into other people. The place was quite confusing without many signages and the lift mechanism was quite weird. But overall, the place looks modern and high-tech.

Jasmine's Sweet 16 Birthday Party
Sunday, March 23, 2008
Celebrated my youngest sis, Jasmine's sweet 16 birthday yesterday. It was held at my aunt's condo in Pasir Ris. The kids these days have all sorts of ideas and so Jasmine's birthday had a retro theme. To be sporting, I went dressed retro as much as I could. Too bad I couldn't find any retro clothes for Shaun. Hehe.. Anyway, I enjoyed myself very much. It was fun seeing these young girls go crazy like smashing cake on bday girl and pushing her into the swimming pool. Brings back memories of secondary & poly days when life was much simpler & worry-free.

Shaun Shaun

Shaun is approaching 4 months in 2 weeks time. He'll be getting his 'botak' hair cut then. In the meantime, he's piling on weight - weighing 6.8kg at 1 week ago. Everyone says his thighs look like chicken drumstick. Haha.. He's also learning how to grab onto things and has been sucking his fingers.
Anyway, he's been such a '开心果', smiling and laughing when we talk to him. When I went to visit him on Wednesday, he was trying to lift his head off the rocker, as if wanting to sit upright. A pity I didn't manage to catch it on video.
Was out this late morning to get a pedi and to fix my irritating ingrown nail problem. Manicurist said my skin colour suit dark red shades.
Loving my nail colour & nail art!

A touching video

I received this video link from a friend and was tearing by the time I finished watching it. Such a talented young girl. I have to admit even though I can see and am older than her by 2 decades, I can't play 'Fur Elise' as well as her. No, I'm not exaggerating, watch it and you'll know what I mean.

Today is my first day back at work. Very happy to see all my colleagues, but at the same time, missing Shaun badly. Saw my little darling at my MIL's house for a short while before he fell asleep. I missing him again as I type... I can't wait for tomorrow when I can see him again. Shaun shaun, please don't sleep when mummy visits you..
