Brought mum and Hazel to Mandarin Oriental for lunch last Saturday. Deliberated over the venue, but decided that Mum and dearest thoroughly deserved their treat given what blessings they have been to me and my naughty 'xiao zhu' (little piglet born in year of pig). Successfully resisted the Indian corner ('heaty' and sure to kill given how I was 'atrophying'). Eugene
